Ashton appoints the Public Guardian Board |

This article on the Ministry of Justice site explains the make-up of the Public
Guardian Board. The board was appointed by Justice Minister Aston pursuant
to the Mental Capacity Act 2005. It is a profound disappointment that Immigration Services Commissioner Suzanne McCarthy was named as a board member in this otherwise noble undertaking, and we must now question the judgement of Baroness Ashton. It is the same Suzanne McCarthy who exercised the OISC's veto against blacks and Hispanics from representation in the UK Borders Agency stakeholder groups. It is the same Suzanne McCarthy who orchestrated the announcement of the now legendary HSMP "changing of the goalposts" which was ultimately ruled illegal by the high court. It is the same Suzanne McCarthy who is the subject of a serious (and well documented) complaint of libel and slander brought on by her vicious attack on the Transpondia web site. It is the same Suzanne McCarthy whose bungled and inept management has yielded up moral ascendancy to the very criminals she is supposed to protect us against. It is almost incomprehensible that such an individual would be seriously considered for a position of public trust. Baroness Ashton, what in heaven's name possessed you? |
